Ecomondo 2025
At Ecomondo 2025, the leading European fair for the green and circular economy with over 100,000 visitors, José presented ReMaG – Recycling Magnets of End-of-Life Wind Turbines during the EIT RawMaterials Day.
Invited by EIT RawMaterials, N9VE is showcasing its work on developing and scaling a European process for rare earth recovery, helping to build a circular and resilient magnet value chain.

ReMag - a collaborative project funded by EIT RawMaterials
We’re proud to kick off ReMag, a collaborative project funded by EIT RawMaterials, bringing together industry and research partners to build a new value chain for the sustainable recovery of Rare Earth Elements (REE) from End-of-Life permanent magnets. As part of ReMag, we will commission N9VE’s pilot unit at our Rare Earths & Magnetics Innovation Center in Barcelos, Portugal — a key step toward scaling sustainable REE recovery in Europe. The project gathers key players across Europe:

Over the next two years, ReMag will deliver a pilot solution to recover critical materials and support compliance with the new EU Critical Raw Materials Act. ReMag starts with ambition and alignment — and we’re just getting started.
