N9VE’s Rare Earths & Magnetics Innovation Center is where circularity becomes something you can measure, repeat, and scale. Built around real end-of-life magnetes, it connects the full journey—from recovery to materials engineering—inside one operational backbone. We already run a working prototype that proves performance in practice, and we are now scaling it into an automated, industrial-grade system designed as the direct precursor to a full plant.

What makes this Center different is our definition of circularity: recycling is not the same as recovery. Recovery means going back to the true elements—the clean, fundamental form that can be used to build again. That is the route to true circularity, where what was used before can genuinely become new again.

Most—if not all—so-called “recycling” routes are energy-intensive and end up downcycling: materials are blended, contaminated, or locked into forms that can’t return to their original performance. Quality declines, and end-use options narrow. N9VE is building the opposite pathway—one that restores material integrity and preserves value, giving these materials a new, clean beginning and enabling a real loop back into highperformance applications.

This is also where the next chapter begins: moving beyond oxides to develop metal alloys—the decisive bridge from recovery to manufacturing—and shaping Magnets designed to lead the next wave.
